Spiritual Maturity is Equal to Righteousness
BIBLE MEDITATION
And the seed whose fruit is righteousness (spiritual maturity) is sown in peace by those who make peace [by actively encouraging goodwill between individuals]. James 3:18 (AMP)

DEVOTIONAL THOUGHT
Beloved, one of the foundational pillars of the Earth that God has made an open secret is the concept of seed sowing. The idea of seedtime and harvest is imprinted in the very heart of all men. And women, off course.
Beloved, the basic instinct of the human family is self-centeredness. You don’t have to look very far to identify a believer who earnestly desires to walk in righteousness before the All-Knowing God and yet can’t bring themselves to live at peace with a neighbor. Perhaps, the person you may identify first is you.
Beloved, as a result, spiritual maturity, one of the basic goals in our Christian walk, has eluded many. Countless Christians have failed to live life’s that testify to the goodness and mercy of God to the world because they can’t think of any other thing except their interests.
ACTION POINT
Beloved, understand that there is not enough advantage that you can accumulate that will ever justify sowing discord among individuals. Therefore, wherever you may find yourself at any point in time, whether in the classroom or lecture hall, at work, at home, whiles travelling on a journey, you must determine to sow the seeds of peace and goodwill among individuals.
DECLARATION
I declare I will sow the seeds of peace in my associations and eat of its fruit of spiritual maturity.
